OpenOffice.org Ad in New York City's Free "Metro" Newspaper

Following Firefox's ad campaign, the Benjamin Horst from solidoffice.com is attempting to raise money to insert an ad in a New York newspaper called the "Metro". Laudable effort, however this is the proposed ad mockup:

Its not very attractive, and Im sure it can be better aesthetically. It reads like a cheap ad, ironically from the yellow pages.

Lets hope the improve the copy... Also the NY "Metro" doesnt have the same ring as the New York Times. So lets donate via fundable.org to see if it can be done!

more discussions here...

yk.
