Italy adopts ODF as a National Standard

Just came from Mimmo Squillance in Italy:

"This is to inform you that starting today ODF is available on UNI Catalog, therefore we can say that "ISO/IEC IS 26300 has been adopted as Italian Standard".

On main page of UNI website, there is also the following article  which gives more information on ODF:

Italyflag_6 What a wonderful piece of news to end an eventful week. Well done and congratulations to the folks in Italy!

Here in Malaysia, we are happy that Italy has done it, while we persist in the process of adopting ISO 26300 as a Malaysian Standard.

Italy's leadership is our inspiration.
